Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. No flavor and too much flavor on every other menu item. On the bright side the service was good and the soda is bottomless.

Outstanding. Don't be fooled by the appearance of the building. This place is a hit and reasonable priced served with big portions. The homemade egg rolls was delicious and fresh, the soup thick and tasty. I had the number 1 special and goodness it was a plate full and full of deliciousness. Would highly recommend this place.

My absolute favorite place to get Chinese food. My family and I always order egg rolls, beef lo mein, and General Tso's chicken. All are DELICIOUS. I love to eat but must admit I am picky. Mandarin always lets me special order the lo mein and it doesn't take away from the flavor as some other locations. So so so good. I don't know what the lady is talking about everything being sugary. General Tso's is always a great balance of sweet and spicy. Yum!!

A small, unassuming place with fantastic food and great great service. I was looking for a decent place after working in MWC and instead I found my favorite Chinese anywhere!

Service was terrible, restaurant was filthy, and the food was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I ordered hot and sour soup; it was thick and gelatinous and just tasted like corn starch. I also had the Mongolian beef, which was like eating beef flavored gummy bears. My husband ordered volcano beef, which turned out to be breakfast sausage looking patties that I refused to try. The decision to eat here was very unfortunate and a little unbelievable, because when it comes to Americanized Chinese food, I am so not picky...I love it all (until now).

Mandarins Hawaiian chicken is to die for. However, their customer service is terrible to say the least. They are very rude, short and seem annoyed if you ask for more to drink, take out boxes, etc. Also, there's almost always a wait unless you go at random in between meal times. If you don't mind unfriendly servers give Mandarin a try. It's the best Chinese in the Midwest city/ Del city area.

This is a surprisingly good find in the MidDel area. The waitstaff was very pleasant and the food was piping hot and quite flavorful. I've only tried two dishes so far (the tangerine beef and general tao's chicken), but both were pretty delicious with very flavorful sauces. This place is definitely a cut above your normal Chinese restaurant fare in this area. Yum!

If I could rate this place below a one star I would. I ordered general tso chicken and it tasted as if it was dipped in powdered sugar then deep fried in oil that was not hot enough to seal the meat. As were the egg rolls which had no meat inside a big disappointment. If you like a place that has so much sugar in their food that it's like eating candied chicken then by all means eat here. The fried rice was also sooo dry it was hard to eat my child ate it with a sugary sauce from the table and loves it.....gross!!Personally I find in Oklahoma City chows is the only place I can eat Chinese food from. Guernsey park if I want fine dining and a wonderful waitstaff. And pho Thai if I want excellent Vietnamese cuisine at a reasonable price.

My childhood was spent with so much Mandarin that I'm pretty sure I've ate more fried rice than should be allowed by law. I don't think I can actually, earnestly, disagree with anyone who says Mandarin is the best Chinese takeout in the city. Whether you order fried rice, garlic chicken, sweet and sour chicken, or anything in between there's a very good chance you'll end up with a full plate and a happy belly.

Here's the secret, order chicken fried rice, the stuff that comes with your meal is some kind of flavorless fried rice junk. Now, the shrimp fried rice is a little bit of heaven. From there, order the family style meals. They have a precompiled list of what you'll get per person per order. Understand, those are just suggestions. You can get whatever entrees you'd like. For the good 'ole American family members you'll order up some Hawaiian Chicken or Lemon Chicken. For the more adventurous, get the Hong Sui Chicken or the Chow Mein. You can't get anything too authentic as this is one of those Del City joints that caters to chunky Americans. Amen. I'd be remiss in not telling you to order as many egg rolls as you could possibly stuff into your gullet. They are worth it. Many times we'll just swing by and get some of that great fried rice I was telling you about and a box full of egg rolls.

I really love egg-roll here, they had the best egg roll at oklahoma city. I had eaten egg-roll from many different Chinese restaurant. Obviously, i don't find any egg-roll taste so good same as Mandarin, Mandarin's egg-rolls sauce has no red color. I wonder how do they make it.

I've been eating here since I was just a wee lass in high school (about 2004), and I've always had a good experience whether I dine in or take out. The fried rice is -amazing-, and I love their egg rolls and egg drop soup. I've had many things off the menu -shrimp, chow mein, lo mein, fried rice, Hawain chicken, garlic chicken, sweet and sour pork, sweet and sour chicken, etc. Always delicious.

Food is ok. Been here a few times always order the butterfly shrimp. I think I always remember it better than it is. Judging from the fried rice this restaurant it is middle of the road at best. Had the tea on a previous visit and wouldn't recommend ordering it here. The service is middle of the road as well. Atmosphere is kinda dark a ran down. Overall if you are in the area and looking for something quick this will do. Otherwise I would say pass on this one.

Food is decent. The staff could use an attitude adjustment.

Food is good, I have been here many times as i live very near, and this restaurant has its definite ups and downs, up is items such as the tangerine beef, the dumplings, and the sesame chicken are very tasty. The service varies greatly from day to day, as they tend to go through a number of them, some of which are great others, middle of the road, The atmosphere has been explained as dark, but its very intimate and enjoyable for couples. The outside definitely needs repair, and does look fairly rundown. Overall the building does need help, the servers could use some help, but the food itself is very good. If you are in the area, stop by and try it out, don't be off put by the drab exterior.

This is ABSOLUTELY the very best Chinese Restaurant in the world! This is the hidden gem of Del City! Not to mention, they don't skimp on your portion. I have tried just about every item on their menu and have not been disappointed. Their signature egg rolls are to die for. These egg rolls are the standard for what all egg rolls should be measured against. Mandarin's sweet and sour sauce is homemade and no they won't give you the recipe or the specific ingredients, no matter how hard you try.
